All conversations come to an end. You may want or need to go, or you may become aware the other person is ready to leave. It is important to know when and how to wind up a conversation without feeling awkward or being rude. Knowing how to end a conversation is an improtant social skill. Always aim to end the conversation on a positive note, with polite gestures and using appropriate words and phrases. In this course, psychologists Eve Ash and Peter Quarry provide practical tips for how and when to end a conversation politely and positively. They use show documentary examples of people who have just met, ending their conversations.
