Description

Herpes is a Sexually Transmissable Infection (STI). It is caused by two related viruses, herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) and herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2). This course program is for anyone wanting to know more about genital herpes and cold sores (oral herpes). The course includes a dramatized case study of a young couple in a new relationship, where one has genital herpes. Is it safe for them to have sex if one has cold sores, or even genital herpes? In this course, Dr Kimberley Ivory answers questions, provides facts and dispels myths about the HSV virus.
