Description

This course provides practical examples of people skills required by managers. Managers need to understand how to motivate their people and improve their engagement with their work. In this course, psychologists Peter Quarry and Eve Ash explain how managers should build and demonstrate their own people skills and almost be like psychologists to bring out the best in their teams. Managers need to take time out to talk to each member of their team to discover their learning and development needs, what motivates them, how they will tackle challenges and what kind of supervision style will work best.
