Description

This course is an introduction to the MBTI® (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®) and the insights you can gain about personality traits. The Myer-Briggs Type Indicator® was first developed by Katharine Cook Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers. It s based on Carl Jung s theory of four principal psychological functions by which we experience the world: sensation, intuition, feeling and thinking and there are four dichotomies: Extravert or Introvert, Sensing or Intuition, Thinking or Feeling, Judging or Perceiving. There are 16 personality types identified. The dramatized case study shows how the team at Cutting Edge Corporation have fun testing themselves to discover which combinations they are. There are no wrong or right answers; the MBTI is a means of working out better modes of communication and understanding between employees.
